Back to the Heath
A while ago I went to Hampstead Heath. I figured in the 2 weeks of summer here (It actually did get hot and sunny, from what I can remember) I would go back. I wanted to check out the swimming ponds specifically. Though I didn’t get any pictures, I did brave a dunk. However, for a below average swimmer like myself, they aren’t the best place to go. They are deep ponds with no shores, and nazi “lifeguards” that yell at you any time you try to hang on to something so you won’t drown. However, the park is lovely, and I understand why it’s where Londoners have gone to “take the air” for centuries.
